Tamina Nothhelfer

Tamina is a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) accredited (405578) integrative therapist. She has extensive experience in the mental health field, having started her career supporting young people and families dealing with anxiety, relationship and eating difficulties. She worked closely with in-patient units and community services, helping individuals navigate complex emotions and interpersonal dynamics using evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

Tamina later trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic, person-centred, Gestalt, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Therapies. Her diverse skill set allows her to tailor her approach to each client, addressing a wide range of concerns such as anxiety, relationship issues, and self-esteem/body image struggles.

Tamina has a deep appreciation for how cultural context shapes identity and relationships. She provides a welcoming and inclusive therapeutic space for clients from all backgrounds, with a particular focus on those grappling with cultural identity, belonging, and anxiety in their relationships. Tamina is also fluent in German and is happy to offer therapy in German to accommodate her clients’ needs.​​
